The architect involved in the new stadium project construction of both AC Milan and Inter, Massimo Roj, entrusted his words to the microphobes of La Repubblica:
"This is a unique opportunity to relaunch, like what happened for other areas such as CityLife and Porta Nuova. We are talking about an entire neighbourhood here. Losing it would be a pity and a loss for the whole city."
A recent report claimed that the stadium construction is facing obstacles due to Inter's unclear ownership and also because there are municipal elections coming soon. It remains to be seen if there will be any progress on this front any time soon. La Repubblica in today's article claims that the two clubs are not giving up on the project.
