AC Milan will play a very important derby against Inter in the league in hopes of regaining the leading position in the Serie A rankings.
Obviously, the fans cannot be present in the stadium, however, the Curva Sud Milano have shared the following message to kickstart an intiative that should motivate the fans. The message was shared on the curvasudmilano.it. It reads the following
"For exactly one year we have been far from our team, stadium, and Curva and this is proving to be a very heavy absence for the players who, despite this distance, have honored our jersey to a great extent. We have been following Milan from our homes in front of TV screens for a year but this will never be our place. Our place is only the one from which we can transmit emotions to the team, the one from which we can drag it and push it to attack, the one towards which every Milan player can look up and proudly admire the fire and flames of our love for the team: Our place is the Curva Sud.
For obvious reasons we can't go back yet but we can do one thing:
MEET US ON SUNDAY AT 12.30 IN SAN SIRO
IN FRONT OF THE GATE 14
We will be there to greet the team on the bus that will pass under and to motivate our players for a decisive derby. Bring a flag, a scarf, whatever it takes to create that fascinating folklore that AC Milan players have not seen for too long. It is time to give a signal, to show the children our closeness and our love that these difficult months have not affected in the least.
It is time to let the players know that we are with them and never as in this circumstance will a massive, compact and colorful presence be important on our part.
It is time to remind everyone, on the most important day, which is the first ultras curva in Italy and the real ultras curva in Milan: for this reason we find ourselves in front of gate 14 with the same enthusiasm that we bring to the Curva Sud, as if we were in our usual place ready to crush whatever worms in front of us.
Many, united, and strong and with Il Diavolo in their bodies: for US and for our Milan! Let's go Milan"
