17-year-old midfielder Lucas Gourna-Douath, is already starting for Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne in several occasions, despite his very young age. Therefore, various European clubs, including Milan, Chelsea and Leipzig, have been reported to be monitoring the French youngster.
According to Foot Mercato, many prestigious clubs have been inquiring about Gourna's situation for several months now. For their part, ASSE are willing to listen, while the player's entourage are reflective. In fact, everything suggests that the promising talent's spell with the Green club could end a little more prematurely than expected, due to the crisis.
However, Gourna-Douath's representatives are getting ready to any scenario, especially that the French club had sold William Saliba and Wesley Fofana for €30M and €35M respectively, while they were considered as untouchables. For this case, Saint-Etienne may be evaluating their rising star between €15M and €25M by the end of the season, as reported by the same source.
