Parma head coach Roberto D’Aversa has spoken through the microphones of Sky Sport following his team’s loss against AC Milan in Serie A. Here are his statemens:
On the game:
“In the second half we improved. We weren’t good at achieving numerical superiority. In the first half we were too shy and gave up against a strong but struggling team, as seen with Sampdoria. If you look at the numbers, we didn’t deserve the defeat but we lost the game in the first half “
On the disappointing game of some players:
“I made a change in the first half but many played a slow game. The responsibility lies on everyone. In the second half we had a different attitude but we could have done better. We conceded two goals too easily. We cannot afford to throw away games like this if we want to save ourselves“
On the goals conceded:
“If we analyze the two goals, they did not come so much thanks to a team with great quality but because of our submissive attitude. Many players had a subdued first half. Overall, the team gave up, with little desire to put the opponent in difficulty.“
