In January transfer market window, AC Milan brought Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea on loan and he impressed as soon as he entered the pitch, showing why Maldini and Massara chose him to be the reinforcement of the defense.
The player's loan has ended and he should be back to Cobham, Chelsea's training centre, but a return to Milanello is not in doubt, according to various reports as the Rossoneri managers want to keep him. The transfer cost agreed upon with Chelsea is reportedly 28 million euros. As per Tuttosport, there is a total agreement and both clubs have reached an understanding about the payment methods.
However, there is not just Tomori that should make the switch from England to Italy, Olivier Giroud is also set to leave (on a free transfer). Milan are fans of the profile and want to sign him to strengthen the attack.
Milan have put a two-year contract worth 4 million euros plus bonuses on the player's table. It remains to be seen whether this deal will close before or after the European Championship where Giroud will participate with the French national team, but the newspaper claims that the management is optimistic.
