AC Milan must deal, during the summer's mercato, with the players who spent the season at the San Siro on loan, like Tomori, who is reportedly close to making the move permanent, Brahim Diaz, Sandro Tonali, and Diogo Dalot.
Calcio e Finanza explains how the balance sheet of the next season 2021/2022 would look like if these players are brought permanently.
For Tomori's redemption, the transfer would cost 28 million euros (27 million for the buy-option and 1 million euros for the loan) and a net salary of 2 million euros per season for the next 5 years. That would be an impact of 8.02 million euros ( between gross and depreciation) thanks to the tax relief provided for by the Growth Decree.
Moving on to Brescia's loanee, 15 million euros are required for the buy-option (and 10 million euros in bonuses) as well as a 2 million euros salary per season for the next 4 years. The cost between salary and amortisation would be 6.7 million euros.
As for Brahim Diaz, who joined on a dry loan from Real Madrid, the situation is a little different because Milan wants to renew the loan and insert the right to buy the player's card; it would mean that only his salary would have an effect on the balance sheet.
Diogo Dalot, the Portuguese fullback, could also stay in Milan. Few reports suggest that Paolo Maldini would be ready to propose 15 million euros to Manchester United for a definitive acquisition, for a budget weight - assuming a five-year period for him too - equal to just over 4.3 million.
In total, AC Milan would put 57 million euros on the plate for the three cards (Tomori, Dalot and Tonali) , to which a further 10 million bonuses for Tonali could be added.
