German defender Merle Luise Kirschstein spoke to the Milan TV’s microphone about her arrival at AC Milan, her expectations for this season and more.

On playing for AC Milan:
“I think it's a really great emotion for me and I'm really happy to play for such a big club, it's great because of me and I'm really happy and I can't believe it now.”
On how she felt after signing:
“I was driving home from my family at the moment and, yeah, it was really crazy, and I was really, really happy at the moment, I had no words but. It's really big dream, a wish comes true this year and, yeah, I'm looking forward and I hope to enjoy it.”
On how she started in the game:
“My big brother put together word, he played in the garden so I played with him, and my dad brings me to a club then when I was five so I started and I never wanted to stop.”
On her idol:
“Jerome Boateng is my idol because his German and I love how we play.”
On her playing style:
“I'm really open-minded person on the field. I want to push the team and I want to go forward and, yeah, I think I have a good pass and I tried to calm the team and yeah I'm good in the one versus one.”
On her professional dream:
“My goal and dream are to win the Champions league.”
