AC Milan are in an ongoing process of work and negotiations with George Atangana, who is the representative and agent of star midfielder Franck Kessié, for the contract extension talks.
The Rossoneri club managers have raised their offer to reach almost 6 million euros. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports it, saying that the bonuses will be crucial in order to close the deal with success.
The same source reveals that Premier League giants Liverpool remain in the background, observing the negotiations closely and ready to take advantage of any openings in the hopes of securing the signing of Kessié.
The star central midfielder, for his part, seems to prefer staying at Milanello and continue his adventure with Milan. This much was confirmed in his recent interview as he said the following:
"Milan fans have to rest. I always keep my word, they should know me. Now I am here in Tokyo to get something important with my country, but as soon as the Olympics are over, I return to Milan and we fix everything. There will be no problems.”
