In the last transfer market window, AC Milan management activated the buy-option clause for Fikayo Tomori after a successful loan spell.
The 23-year-old English centre-back, originally from Canada, has been a guarantee at the back next to Simon Kjaer. He took over team captain Alessio Romagnoli who has been at the club for around 7 seasons now.
After missing the participation in the Euros competition, Fikayo Tomori continued to work hard to prove himself to the eyes of English coach Gareth Southgate. The player's determination, will and progress did not go unnoticed as he finally received the call from the national team.
Tomori was called up in fact to contribute to the efforts of the Three Lions squad in the coming break. The English will face Andorra and Hungary in October 9 and October 12 respectively.
