Igor Tudor, Hellas coach, was interviewed by DAZN at the end of Milan-Hellas Verona.
Here are his words, as per MilanNews:
"We don't want a 2-0 lead anymore, it's already the third time (laughs). Milan accelerated in the second half, for me there was also a draw but we have to praise them, they put in quality players and pushed on forward. We take the first half and we will continue to work, especially from a physical point of view because to play the football we want to do we must be more than fine. Now we throw ourselves back to work to grow."
On the match and the psychological aspect:
"There is, 2-0 away from home… Milan pushed, it is normal that with 2-0 the psychology on the pitch is different. Even on 3-2 it changed. When we caught the ball we couldn't hold it to let the team breathe. Milan were missing 3-4 players, after that first half we could have brought home at least one point but that's okay."
Igor Tudor continued:
"Kalinic and Simeone both did well. I chose Kalinic because he's an ex Milan player, I thought it might be the best choice. I'm happy to have both of them, the season is long and there will be room for everyone. The important thing is that they are well."
