Romain Faivre, talented 23-year-old attacking midfielder of Brest in Ligue 1 does not hide his true feelings as he clearly aims for a move away from his current club and sign for Serie A outfit AC Milan.
In an interview which was released yesterday by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the player said he is getting ready for Milan by having a nutritionist, a personal trainer and a mental coach. He even revealed that he sees himself thriving in Pioli's tactics and that he wished he would have been part of the latest derby clash.
The player clearly is desperate for an AC Milan move. However, the trail is not hot right now from the Rossoneri's part, writes Calciomercato.com who confirm Gianluca Di Marzio's news.
According to the Italy-based website, the player was very close to signing for Milan. But, Brest were 'annoyed' with how the attacking midfielder acted which is why they decided to suspend the negotiations.
Frederic Massara, who is the Rossoneri's sporting director is still interested in the star of Brest, but other profiles are also being monitored. Calciomercato.com also add that AC Milan were not pleased with Romain Faivre's strategy. They are taking a pause to think deeper about the situation at hand.
