AC Milan's search for a player to reinforce the team in the future is ongoing in the hours during the transfer market window with Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara keen on signing Serie C 17-year-old midfielder Tommaso Berti who plays for Cesena.
According to the latest report by Calciomercato.com's Daniele Longo, Cesena is set to reject the Rossoneri's offer that is 150 thousand euros for the loan and 300 thousand euros for the buy-option. Tommaso Berti himself is not too convinced of the idea of having to play for the AC Milan Primavera.
The same source, however, explains that Cork City Irish 16-year-old centre-back Cathal Heffernan would be close to make a transfer to Milanello.
