French media outlet L'Equipe have posted a couple of days ago their 'Team of the Weekend' regarding the French players who play in Europe while using a 3-4-3 formation module. This lineup features two AC Milan players who have shined in the last fixture against Empoli.
In fact, the two in questions are 'decisive' Pierre Kalulu and 'precious' Mike Maignan.
L'Equipe writes that Maignan made great saves for his team against a sneaky header from 25-year-old defender Sebastiano Luperto in the 49th minute and a direct corner kicked by Scottish 25-year-old midfielder Liam Henderson.
Pierre Kalulu, for his part, was praised also for his great contribution in defence but also obviously for his goal which was decisive.
L'Equipe writes that the Kalulu continues to gain momentum and his goal after a badly-executed free-kick proves how he is always ready and concentrated to help his team even up front.
The full lineup of the newspaper looks like the following
3-4-3: Maignan; Kalulu, Lucas Perrin, Mohamed Simakan; Dimitri Lienard, Jean-Victor Makengo, Baptiste Santamaria, Benjamin Bourigeaud; Ousmane Dembélé, Christopher Nkunku, Martin Terrier
