AC Milan's future as a club could be different soon as Elliott may let go of the Serie A giants for a reported 1 billion euros fee in favour of InvestCorp. The American hedge fund would be prepared to sell the club immediately if there is a convincing offer on the table, as we reported (see here).
Today, Corriere della Sera have confirmed what was anticipated in our interview with an Elliott spokesperson who revealed that there are parties who expressed interest in purchasing the club in view of the recent performances of the club on and off the pitch.
As per the Italian newspaper, Mohammed Al Ardhi who is the chairman of InvestCorp is not the only one to make an offer to Elliott. There is also talk of the Ricketts family who already attempted to buy the club in the past but they now seem more oriented towards Chelsea.
As per the source, in addition to that, "at least one more" proposal was sent to Elliott regarding the AC Milan club.
