AC Milan - Spezia was a very strange game in Serie A and especially for the Rossoneri fans. Junior Messias scored the winning goal only for the referee to not give an advantage and call for a foul. Then Spezia scored the second. Milan went from a victory to a loss in a matter of minutes because of referee Marco Serra who officiated that fixture.

Codacons (The Coordination of associations for the defence of the environment and the rights of users and consumers) have officially lodged an appeal to have the match of Milan - Spezia replayed (as well as the game of Spezia - Lazio as Acerbi scores the winner in the 90th minute in a 3-4 result)
Here is the official statement of Codacons:
"Both matches were decided by two macroscopic technical errors of the match official, the assistant referews and, in the case of Spezia-Lazio, also of the VAR room. If the Football Association does not immediately replay the matches won, the regularity of the entire Serie A championship may cease, with teams that have acquired irregular advantages over other unjustly damaged teams. A situation that also causes damage both to the fans, who have witnessed a clearly spoiled sporting spectacle, and to the bettors, by virtue of the results of the matches on the field, distorted by the sensational referee errors. These are not simple interpretations or discretionary errors of the referees, but technical mistakes in the application of the Rules of the game of football, and for this very reason the Football Federation must absolutely order the repetition of the spoiled matches. Sports justice cannot claim the right to harm the rights and interests of millions of football fans."
