AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli spoke to Milan TV after the win against Hellas Verona about the Rossoneri group and the comeback tonight:
"Too bad to go under, we played really well in the first 25 minutes. Great deserved victory, it is a great satisfaction. Let's think about the next one."
He added:
"We have been playing games from inside and outside for a while, we can only prepare them as best we can and enter the field to give everything we have."
On Sandro Tonali and Rafael Leao:
"They were fantastic. I think it is always valid that the team enhances the characteristics of the individuals."
On the importance of Mike Maignan:
"A lot, now in Italy many teams mark all the ball owners. Maignan is doing it very well. Next Sunday's match will be very similar from the point of view of this situation."
On Rade Krunic and Alexis Saelemaekers:
"The only plan is to have faith in your players. There may be more useful features when setting up matches. I am fortunate to have many strong and willing players. It is important to choose well at the beginning, it is equally important to have such a strong squad. In the months of November and December we suffered a little from the few choices available."
Pioli on having a compact group:
"A compact group? That's right, it's a correct statement. We are many and we are strong, we must continue like this."
