RMC journalist Johann Crochet spoke to Milannews.it in an interview to discuss the tranfer market of the AC Milan club, especially on the Renato Sanches front:
"Renato Sanches would be the right profile for Milan because he is the player who, due to his characteristics, can best replace the void left by Kessiè. He has important qualities from a physical and technical point of view, knows how to integrate well with the various game systems and is very intelligent. The injuries? In the recent past, he has often been injured. If his condition is right, Milan would have great deal."
Would he play well with Bennacer or better with Tonali?
"Both. Perhaps, looking from the outside, with Bennacer he would do a little better but it would not be a big factor."
Will the operation be done?
"In my opinion, yes. The ties between Milan and Lille, thanks also to Elliott's past, are excellent and the operation is definitely underway. Sanches, moreover, is not a player who can give his best in the Premier League or from Liga. I see him well at Milan. If the price is really at 20 million euros, then a quick agreement can be reached."
Besides Renato Sanches, thoughts on Sven Botman?
"The track is more difficult because the inclusion of Newcastle could have an impact. The player seems to want Milan and the appeal of the Rossoneri is certainly higher than that of the English. However, Newcastle seem to want to spend a lot of money. It will depend a lot on Lille."
On the arrival of Origi, would it affect Olivier Giroud's position in the AC Milan squad?
"From this point of view, I don't think so. If the dualism is between these two players, I believe that the starting center forward of Milan will be Giroud with Origi ready to alternate. If then something else comes from the market, things could change."
