AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli spoke to the microphones of Milan TV at Milanello in the occasion of the first day of the training camp:
"It was a wonderful summer, I enjoyed family, friends and Milan fans. It was very nice, but now the season is restarting with great enthusiasm. It was an exciting summer."
On the team:
"I would say to wait above all for the fact that we are not yet complete. The important thing is to come back here, see each other again and work together to recreate that magic that was there last season. It will have to be the same path, but for certain sensations it will be right to wait for the rest of the group."
Pioli on his players:
"It's also easier to stay in touch, we were very close. We continued to celebrate even from afar. It was great to win but we know how hard it was to do it. It will be a great job to try to get these emotions again."
On the start of the new season:
"I think it will be a particular season and in the first three months it will be a championship in itself and very important for the season. All the teams will play for important targets and the preparation will have to be at a high level."
Pioli on the work that must be done:
"In October, we will have been working together for 3 years now. We know what we want to do. We start with the same points as our opponents but we know we have concepts and principles. Who will arrive must adapt quickly."
