Now that the De Ketelaere dossier will be officially closed in a matter of few days as the player is expected to sign on a contract by Monday, according to recent reports, AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are looking to bring another important addition to the squad of coach Stefano Pioli. The Milanese management, in fact, are looking to strengthen the defensive line with the possible signing of Japhet Tanganga or Abdou Diallo. The first is the English defender of Tottenham Hotspurs while the other is Senegalese centre-back of Paris Saint Germain.
The 23-year-old player, Tanganga, has given priority to a move to the San Siro, writes Calciomercato.com. The player's entourage are open to the idea of agreeing a move to the champions of Italy. The player cannot wait forever, though, as said priority is given until Tuesday.
As per the same website, it seems that there is a basic agreement with Tottenham for the signing of the defender on loan with an option to buy. But, the costs and figures relating to the potential deal are not yet agreed upon.
Abdou Diallo, former Borussia Dortmund star who is currently at PSG, does not seem to be an important part of newly appointed coach Christophe Galtier and that is why he could be looking for a new experience away from the Ligue 1 champions. Diallo, 26, also remains a concrete possibility for AC Milan directors as he can play as a central defender and also as a left-back.
