After closing for Charles De Ketelaere, AC Milan seem to be focusing now on the new targets in the agenda this summer in order to strengthen the team of coach Stefano Pioli. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara will now have to move to sign a defender, writes Tuttosport in this morning's edition.
The main name for the Rossoneri is reportedly Paris Saint-Germain's Abdou Diallo. The Senegalese defender is not in the plans of newly-appointed coach Christophe Galtier and therefore, he could be set to leave.
As per the Italian newspaper, Abdou Diallo, for AC Milan, is preferred over the profile of Japhet Tanganga currently because he can cover the central defender and left-back role well. The French club, though, must be persuaded to accept a loan with an option to buy and not an obligation. Then, Milan must also be able to convince PSG to pay part of Abdou Diallo's salary while on loan.
