In today's edition of Il Corriere dello Sport, we read about a 'surprise negotiation', as relayed by Milan Press. The well-known sports newspaper talks about a proposal made by super agent Jorge Mendes, Cristiano Ronaldo's agent (and also representative of Rafael Leao). The said proposal was sent to AC Milan and Inter.
A call from the super agent to the two Milanese clubs arrived between the end of June and the beginning of July. the goal was to understand if there were the margins to bring the legendary super star of Real Madrid, Juventus and Manchester United back to Italy.
The two Milan clubs are appreciated destination for Cristiano Ronaldo because he wants to play in the Champions League competition again.
The attempt, however, immediately 'evaporated' due to the 24 million euros salary of the Portuguese salary.
