Ignazio Abate, head coach of the AC Milan Primavera team, after the victory against Cagliari 2-0 yesterday, has spoken to the club's official channel and said the following:
"I am very happy for the victory, especially because it gives moral conviction to the boys. We have always done more or less good performances, but when you don't bring home points something is missing, but I'm happy with the group I have available and with today's performance. We had a great first half, then we risked two or three occasions on an inactive ball where we need to improve, but the team dictated the pace, tried to impose their ideas and knew how to suffer, they always remained in order with ease. A positive day."
On the turnover:
" Playing every 3 days, it is unthinkable to exclude some young players, they are all starters, all important. It takes patience, we also have many young boys to put in at the right time so as not to 'burn' them."
Abate on the spirit of the team:
"I am delighted with the spirit they are putting into it, the intensity and the quality. I think the celebration after the second goal was wonderful."
