Empoli‘s captain and midfielder, Filippo Bandinelli, has released an interview to the microphones of La Gazzetta dello Sport. He spoke about the coming game that sees the AC Milan side of Stefano Pioli facing Empoli. Here are his words:
“Perhaps, due to the way we play, we express ourselves even better with the most important teams. Those that in terms of dribbling let you play a little more. Also last year, we had excellent matches against the big names and on Saturday we will try to play a great match and give Milan a hard time. Of course, attention must be at maximum level because at the first mistake they punish you.”
Bandinelli and his thoughts regarding the Scudetto race:
“I think this year will be very balanced. And there will be several surprises. Atalanta and Udinese without European competitions can do a lot. For me, Atalanta can go all the way, and i friulani (Udinese) can end up in Europe if they keep it up. Udinese impressed me, they are technically and physically difficult to face. But Milan is for me the favourite to win the championship.”
