AC Milan Primavera side, coached by Ignazio Abate, achieved an impressive result. The team beat Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia and have therefore secured qualification to the UEFA Youth League round of 16.
The Italians won 2-1 away from home. First goal was scored by Jordan Longhi in the 25th minute thanks to an assist of Jan-Carlo Simic, the summer signing defender. Dinamo Zagreb found the equaliser in the 29th minute thanks to Mateja Sakota. In the second half of the game, Gabriele Alesi scored the second goal for the AC Milan Primavera team: he scored a penalty, which was obtained by Filippo Scotti who replaced Chaka Traoré in the 66th minute.
Milan have secured a place in the round of 16th in the UEFA Youth League. They have 11 points after 5 games. RB Salzburg are second with 8 points. Dinamo Zagreb have 6 points and are third. Chelsea, after 5 matches played, have only collected 2 points.
