The AC Milan directors are looking to revamp the goalkeeper's position in Stefano Pioli's squad. That explains the move for Devis Vasquez, news which broke only recently. The Colombian goalkeeper who is 24 years old should complete a move to the Rossoneri as he landed yesterday in Milan at the Malpensa Airport.
As per Milannews.it, the arrival of the new goalkeeper is due to the vast technical difference which was noticed between Mike Maignan and Ciprian Tatarusanu as well as Antonio Mirante. Overall, the Romanian goalkeeper performed his role as second goalkeeper with acceptable results and not too many errors, but in Milan for years, there hasn't been two strong goalkeepers at the same time.
The last few cases which saw AC Milan enjoy the availability of two important goalkeepers in the squad was perhaps with Dida - Christian Abbiati and Gianluigi Donnarumma with Pepe Reina, writes Milannews.it.
Devis Vasquez should undergo medical tests today before signing with on a contract with the Milan club.
