AC Milan managers, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, know that Tiémoué Bakayoko may be leaving soon as he is not included in Pioli's plans and also because there is great interest in him from Turkish clubs.
As per Il Corriere dello Sport newspaper in this morning's print edition, Paolo Maldini did close the door on any incoming transfers more than a week ago. However, things seem to have changed now as the Rossoneri are evaluating some options and possibilities in the remaining days of the market.
According to the source, if Milan manage to offload Chelsea's loanee Tiémoué Bakayoko, they could consider an important midfield reinforcement. In fact, AC Milan are thinking of versatile midfielder Houssem Aouar who currently plays for Olympique Lyonnais on a contract which expires at the end of the current season. However, there are many clubs on Aouar as they would like to sign him on a free in the summer.
