AC Milan progressed to the quarter finals of the Champions League after the draw against Tottenham in North London. Paris Saint-Germain, on the other hand, lost 3-0 on aggregate against Beyern Munich. After last night’s 2-0 loss in Germany, the French side’s goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma, spoke to the media and said:
“The Champions League is like this, it’s the details that make the difference. In the first half, we should have done more, we had opportunities that weren’t maximized, then you make a mistake and concede a goal. The disappointment is immense, we’re angry, now we have to look ahead, we still have the league.”
On AC Milan, Donnarumma said:
“I am happy for my former teammates, it is a great sign for Italian football. I am proud of my choice to join PSG. I am a part of this club, I feel completely inside it, I haven’t had a single regret. Regarding the Champions League, unfortunately, if you make a mistake, you concede a goal, you have to pay attention to the details, unfortunately, it went like this tonight.”
