Today’s print edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport spoke about Zlatan Ibrahimovic who made history yesterday despite not having won the game. He has scored a penalty which made him the oldest scorer in Serie A history, thus overtaking Alessandro ‘Billy’ Costacurta, former Milan legendary defender.
His statements were relayed by the newspaper as he talked about his teammate Rafael Leao who is going through a rather tough moment. Here are some his words (full interview here):
“He doesn’t seem happy at the moment and has a lot of pressure. But compared to a year ago he is even stronger.”
Ibrahimovic also said:
“If I’m fine I want to continue, I can do even more. I’ve suffered too much in these 14 months and now I want to get my revenge. I’m fine here, then it depends on what they’re looking for, what idea they have. I’m available and I’m in no hurry. And I respect the decision to exclude me from the Champions League, I wasn’t feeling well.”
