AC Milan must reinforce the team and build a competitive squad in the summer transfer window, no matter where they end up at the end of the season in terms of Serie A league ranking. According to what is reported in today's print edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the club is keen on Chelsea's Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
As per the report, the player's card would cost a fee around 25 million euros. He is a 27-year-old Englishman with 30 appearances so far with the Blues. His contract with the London-based club expires at the end of the season. He is appreciated by the Italians and he has already given his approval to join Milan.
Loftus-Cheek, however, is not the only player linked with a move to the Rossoneri to strengthen the midfield. According to the same source, Daichi Kamada, whose contract with Eintracht Frankfurt expires at the end of this season, is also on the AC Milan wishlist.
As for the future of Spanish playmaker Brahim Diaz, his loan deal expires at the end of this season. His future is uncertain at the San Siro. It remains to be seen if he will remain at Milanello beyond this experience or if he will return to Real Madrid.
