The American came from a couple of difficult seasons at Chelsea that had cast doubt on his qualities: the truth is that his class has always existed, and in the first 25 minutes as a Rossoneri player, he showcased it all on the Dall'Ara field.
He also broke some records, something he's accustomed to doing, perhaps already being, at 24 years old, the best player in American history. He was the first American to score on his Serie A debut and the first to score in the Bundesliga (Dortmund), Premier League (Chelsea), and Serie A (Milan).
