AC Milan have lacked goals recently, especially from their veteran centre-forward who is always a starter: Olivier Giroud. The Rossoneri club management, therefore, is reportedly thinking of a move to make soon.
One name who was linked to the club, though, is Santiago Gimenez of Feyenoord. He scored a brace against Lazio in his Champions League debut last night. He has now reached 15 goals in the season after 11 games played so far.
According to what is reported by Calciomercato.com, AC Milan were linked with signing the 22-year-old centre-forward last summer. The player's agents even came to Italy and have offered him to the club. However, after the meeting between the parties, Milan eventually decided to make other choices in the market.
Santiago Gimenez is left-footed. His contract with Dutch side Feyenoord runs until the summer of 2027. He has an Italian passport, and is valued now at 40 million euros according to Transfermarkt.
