AC Milan's target for the attack, reportedly, is Jonathan David from Lille. The Canadian striker, however, has not scored in 10 latches and has also lost his starting position in the team.
So far this season, he has only scored 4 goals in a total of 18 matches. His coach, Paulo Fonseca, has started to use other alternatives in his position.
He is not in the best moment right now. However, this might be the best position for AC Milan to try to sign him in the market. The 60 million for which he was valued have understandably decreased now, also given the fact that his contract expiration in June 2025.
According to what is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the current valuation is set at 40 million euros. But, it can drop even lower to 30 million euros.
Jonathan David also represents the type of contractual profile that Milan targeted in the summer: a player with one year left on his contract with his current club, similar to Christian Pulisic and Samuel Chukwueze.
