Francesco Camarda made his debut in AC Milan's victory against Fiorentina. The 15-year-old centre-forward became the youngest player to ever play in Serie a history.
His debut was forced due to different absences and suspensions and injuries. But, it seems that a few more Primavera players will follow his steps soon, starting with Jan-Carlo Simic tomorrow against Frosinone.
According to reports from Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, the next young player from Milan to make his debut will be central defender Jan-Carlo Simic. The Serbian defender born in 2005 arrived last summer from Stuttgart and quickly integrated into Coach Abate's team due to his technical prowess and leadership qualities.
He is multilingual and possesses a strong personality, traits already observed during his participation in games during the American tour with the first team. Most likely, it will be his turn to partner with Tomori tomorrow evening against Frosinone—a debut among professionals at San Siro, possibly from the starting minute. This differs from Camarda's debut, who had the chance to acclimatize and enter the final part of the match.
Camarda, once again, will be present, perhaps ready to have a few more minutes on the field, although the starting position remains reserved for Luka Jovic, with Giroud still serving a two-match ban.
More youngsters in line
Pioli, however, faces numerous absences in defense, attack, and even in goal. This means that not only Simic and Camarda will join the first team against Frosinone. There will be four other players under 20, two of whom have already made their debut, and one who is now a permanent member of Pioli's squad. Davide Bartesaghi has already seen playing time this year, primarily a left-back but also adaptable as a central defender, finding himself under scrutiny in these days.
Chaka Traorè, fresh from his first minutes in the Champions League with Milan (although not memorable due to the result), is also in a transitional phase between Pioli and Abate. Even without Leao and Okafor tomorrow, Traorè will serve as the first backup for Pulisic. Lapo Nava will be on the bench as the fourth goalkeeper for Rossoneri.
Additionally, Alex Jimenez, a full-back who arrived from Real Madrid in the summer and is reportedly showing promise with the Primavera team, will also be included. Milan is heavily relying on these very young players.
