José Miguel López Catalàn, vice-president of Real Betis, spoke to Canal about the future of Juan Miranda, the left-back close to signing with the AC Milan club.

"So far, there have been renewal proposals, but for some reason, whether sporting or economic, we haven't been able to reach that agreement. He's a player who obviously attracts other clubs. There's talk of Milan, Dortmund, or other Spanish teams. Anything can happen: we could reach an agreement and renew for many years, or he could receive a huge offer. With a salary double or triple what he has here, it's fair for him to accept, but we still don't know. The relationship with his family and his agent is very good. It's not a tense relationship, but the issue is not just the signing bonus, which can go to the player or the agent, it's the wages. Since other clubs wouldn't have to pay a transfer fee, they could offer him double or triple, and Betis cannot compete there..."
