The Italian newspaper, Tuttosport, spoke this morning about the match that will see Empoli host AC Milan this Sunday. There will be a special encounter between Daniel Maldini and his former teammates.
Daniel, in fact, is on loan from the Rossoneri team to Empoli. The 22-year-old second son of Paolo, is not yet certain of a starting spot: he's in competition with Tommaso Baldanzi for the role of attacking midfielder in Aurelio Andreazzoli's 4-3-1-2 formation.
Last season, while at Spezia, it's noted, Daniel Maldini even scored against Milan at San Siro, in front of his father's watchful eyes.
This time, only the son will be there because Paolo has been relieved of his duties since June. Sunday will see them face off for a spot in the Champions League and in the battle against relegation. Daniel is surely very focus and will be ready to give more than 100% against the Rossoneri.
Daniel Maldini has played 6 matches so far this season with Empoli with an overall of just 246 minutes.
