The agent of Radu Dragusin, Florin Manea, has given an interview to the Romanian site 'Gsp.ro' to discuss the imminent transfer of the 21-year-old former defender of Juventus to Tottenham.
After a night of reflection, the player accepted Tottenham's proposal this morning and is currently on a flight headed for London: "I can't believe I turned down Bayern Munich", he said. "We made the decision at 8 o'clock this morning. It's difficult to make such a choice; Bayern really wanted him, and yesterday evening they made an official offer. There was more money from Bayern, but he said this is the right step in his career. We stayed up all night thinking. I didn't sleep at all. We stayed to weigh the advantages and disadvantages. Both Napoli and Milan wanted him. But he dreamed of playing in the Premier League since he was young."
Dragusin's agent added:
"At one point, Tottenham was a bit far from what Genoa wanted, but I said that if the clubs reached an agreement, we would choose Tottenham. And the Spurs made great efforts."
