The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office, which is investigating the transfer of shares from Elliott to RedBird to clarify the ownership of AC Milan, has transmitted the documents to the FIGC Prosecutor's Office.
It is a (small) part of the investigation file, about 12 pages long, and now the investigation can begin into the possible violation of article 32, paragraph 5, which could eventually lead to a fine or a penalty in the standings, writes La Repubblica.
As reported by the newspaper, the Prosecutor's Office will now have an enemy: time. "The code indeed provides for a maximum time of sixty days for the investigations, with the possibility of two extensions: one of forty days and one of twenty. In total, therefore, the federal investigation must be closed within four months."
