Brahim Diaz is the man of the moment in Spain, as well as the cover man of the well-known magazine Esquire. The former attacking midfielder of Milan, now with Real Madrid, gave a long and interesting interview and also spoke about his time at AC Milan.
Here are his statements.
Return from loan from Milan:
"I didn't imagine anything, honestly. At Milan, I felt very good, we did great things and the truth is that I am very grateful to the club, I always say that. As for Real Madrid, I had no expectations because in the end, it is the best club in the world and you have to give your best day after day. I don't know if I'm surpassing myself or not, but the truth is that so far it has been a very good season for everyone and we have to continue like this. We have to score, make assists, win titles, which in the end is the most important thing in this great club".
On differences between the Brahim of the past and the one who returned from Milan, Brahim Diaz said:
"They are two different moments. At that time, I was young and, even though I obviously came from a great club like Manchester City, I had less experience, I was a kid who wanted to establish himself and at that moment things didn't go as they should have for several reasons. But in the end, all the work pays off and that's what happened to me. I returned to Real Madrid more mature, with more experience, but with the same desire to win."
