According to what is reported on the Sky Sport website, good news arrives for Milan and for the project of the new stadium that the Rossoneri wants to build in the San Francesco area: the City Council of San Donato Milanese has rejected the motion of the minority to suspend the process related to the program agreement.
This is the title of the motion that was voted on in the chamber:
"Urgent Motion - Territory Governance. San Francesco area. urban transformation intervention of a sports nature (AC Milan stadium) with supra-municipal relevance - suspension of the process related to the program agreement presented by councilors Ginelli, Falbo".
In the coming days, the process related to the program agreement will therefore begin, involving all the entities interested in the realization of the project, including the Lombardy Region, Metropolitan City, Municipality of Milan, Highways, and Railways.
The process will last no less than 18 months and, in case of resolution of all issues related to roads and transportation, will lead to the start of work for the new facility of the club in via Aldo Rossi in San Donato, which remains Milan's first option, as relayed by Milan News.
