Gianluca Di Marzio spoke about the Milan - Joshua Zirkzee situation to Sky Sport Italia. Here are his words:
"Milan wants him (Zirkzee) strongly. The pressure is strong, the player has already shown willingness, he wants to stay in Serie A. The clause will be exercised when he finds agreement with his next club. Right now, what's missing is the agreement on the salary and there's the obstacle of the commissions, very high, around 15 million euros. Zirkzee's agents argue that the release clause should be at a lower value than it is now, so they want a significant amount for the mediation. Milan wants to pay much less, the game is played there and it's not an easy game."
Joshua Zirkzee's alternatives?
"That's why Milan hasn't abandoned alternative tracks, like Armando Broja (of Chelsea) and Artem Dovbyk (from Girona)."
