According to what is reported by Il Corriere dello Sport in this morning's print edition, Atalanta want to keep Charles De Ketelaere permanently. However, they want to be granted a discount on the buy-option which is set at 23 million euros plus two million euros in bonuses. Those are terms which were agreed upon last summer.
As of today, Milan is not inclined to lower the price, especially after a season in which the former Club Brugge player has significantly increased his value, both in Italy and on the European stage.
If an agreement is not reached, Milan director Geoffrey Moncada will need to find a new club for the Belgian.
