The admission by the president of Atletico Madrid, Enrique Cerezo Torres, gives the green light to the transfer of the striker, Alvaro Morata, to Milan.
These are his statements to Tele Cinco, reported by Radio Marca:
"Morata going to Milan? It seems so. At Atletico, those who want to stay, stay. Those who don't want to stay, leave. It bothers us because Alvaro is a fantastic player and a wonderful person."
The former Juventus player, Morata, can celebrate the title of European champion as captain, after his Spain defeated England 2-1 in the final of the competition in Berlin. For the next chapter of his career, however, it seems that AC Milan are working to finalise the deal for him, as we have explained to you (read details here).
