Interviewed by Gazzetta dello Sport, Fabio Capello, former AC Milan coach, shared his thoughts on the Milan transfer market:
"If Milan signs Pavlovic and Fofana, they will secure two important additions along with a forward like Morata, who can score goals consistently and also contribute defensively. Besides integrating the new signings, Fonseca will need to find the tactical balance that was missing last year, when every time the Rossoneri lost possession, the opponents were dangerous or even scored. Leao is a great player with the ball at his feet, but he doesn't contribute much defensively when others attack, and his teammates have to compensate. That's why Fofana would be very useful."
Capello added:
"Even with the French and Serbian players, Milan's transfer market should not be considered closed: the management is on the right track, but there is still a gap with Inter, even if it has been reduced. The Nerazzurri are already complete and have further strengthened compared to last year; the Rossoneri are improving, but they still have some way to go. The same goes for Juventus, which has made good moves but is still not complete."
