The Italian newspaper 'Il Quotidiano Sportivo' headlines this morning about Milan:
"Rangnick idea as new technical director. Coach search, race against time."
In recent days, Cardinale and Ibrahimović met Ralf Rangnick, who will be busy at the World Cup starting in two weeks as Austria’s coach, to offer him the role of new technical director of the club.

Milan, however, do not only need to fill this position, since after the departures of now-ex CEO Giorgio Furlani, Moncada, Tare and Allegri, they must also find a new chief executive, a sporting director and a head coach. Especially for the latter role, it is a race against time because the managerial merry-go-round has already begun, and Milan risk finding themselves in difficulty given they started very late in the search for a new coach.
