AC Milan management will have to make a few sales in the remaining period of this transfer market window. There are eight profiles highlighted in the list made by Calciomercato.com, starting with Fodé Ballo-Touré.
The Senegalese player is under contract with Milan for just one more year, but he is a real burden on the balance sheet. The only concrete offer came from Besiktas, but Fodè rejected it. The former Monaco player wants to play in England, and his agent has proposed him to newly promoted Ipswich Town. In the Championship, he is liked by Watford and Leeds.
The case of Belgian striker Divock Origi is the most paradoxical: Milan has asked him to find a new team, but Divock does not seem very motivated to move on the market. He waits and hopes something will happen in MLS. A proposal from Turkish side Trabzonspor was also rejected.
Yacine Adli has not changed his mind: he wants to stay at Milan because he values it a lot. For this reason, he has rejected two offers: one from Al-Shabab Club and the other from Al-Sadd Sports Club. The Rossoneri club is asking for 13/14 million euros for the former Bordeaux player and hopes to collect this amount to fund the Samardzic deal. Otherwise, Adli risks being left out of the Serie A squad lists.
Luka Jovic is still set to leave Milan because Fonseca does not seem to want to rely on him as a backup to Morata. Jovic has interest from Russia, Spain, and Saudi Arabia but seems inclined to stay with the Rossoneri.
Ismael Bennacer's situation is certainly particular: Milan is willing to sell him for an amount lower than the release clause (50 million euros), but the Algerian does not have a large market. There has been talk about offers from Saudi Arabia, but for now, they are just rumours.
Tommaso Pobega is a player suitable for all seasons, useful for squad lists, and always willing to do the work. Milan would like to keep him, but there is always the possibility of capitalising on him, as he practically costs nothing on the balance sheet. Bologna has shown some interest.
Alexis Saelemaekers was expected to be one of the first players to leave Milanello, but instead, he has earned Fonseca’s trust thanks to an important preseason performance. The Belgian has a good chance of staying, but if a 20 million offer arrives, the situation might change.
For Rossonero youth player Marco Nasti, Hellas Verona is interested: Milan is discussing him as part of the deal for young Gialloblu player Alphadjo Cissè, a 17-year-old attacking midfielder. Some offers have also come from Serie B clubs, and CEO Giorgio Furlani is considering a permanent transfer as well.
