According to Peppe Di Stefano, The Sky Sport Italia correspondent at Milanello, Alvaro Morata suffered a severe head injury during today’s training session in a collision with Strahinja Pavlovic.
The Spanish forward was immediately taken to the hospital in Legnano, where he underwent an MRI scan, which came back negative.
Morata's condition will be closely monitored
"As a precaution," journalist Di Stefano explains, "he will be monitored hour by hour. He will definitely be unavailable for the match against Cagliari."
