In this morning's edition of Corriere dello Sport, there is an interview released with Thohir, the Indonesian businessman who is a former owner of Inter.
Erick also spoke about the stadium issue and revealed he had a chat with the AC Milan owner Gerry Cardinale. Here's what he had to say:
"Yes, I also spoke about it with Gerry Cardinale when we recently met here in Jakarta. I told him that the right path is to build the new facility together. It will also be beneficial for Serie A. Back then, I had discussed it with Barbara Berlusconi as well, but she decided to proceed on her own (only to abandon the idea later)."
Thohir continued:
"So, I tried asking the mayor of Milan to grant San Siro to Inter, but I had to stop due to the complexity of laws and regulations."
