With Sérgio Conceicao, AC Milan have been able to beat Juventus and bitter city rivals, Inter, in the supercoppa competition. Now, the club management must try to support the new coach, not just with words, but also by bringing in some important players to reinforce the team.

But before making any signings this January, it’s likely that the Rossoneri club will finalise a couple of outgoing transfers. Both are expected to involve the same position, the attacking wingers, as per PianetaMilan.it.
Noah Okafor, born in 2000, a Swiss player signed in the summer of 2023 from RB Salzburg, may be close to become a RB Leipzig player. The deal could be a loan with an option to buy, which becomes an obligation under certain conditions, for a total of 11 million euros.
Who else could leave AC Milan in 2025 January's transfer market
Samuel Chukwueze is reportedly close to leaving. The Nigerian player has some interested clubs in him. Aston Villa, however, are the ones pushing the hardest for him.
After these two exits, the Rossoneri management plans to secure two transfer market signings for the flanks, one on the right and one on the left.

To replace Samuel Chukwueze, it appears to be a two-horse race between Francisco Trincão, a 1999-born Portuguese left-footer from Sporting Lisbon, and Pepê, a 1997-born Brazilian from Porto.
The former could be favoured, given that his agent, Jorge Mendes, also represents Conceição and the Portuguese head coach has worked with him in the past. On the left flank, the hot name in recent days is Englishman Marcus Rashford, born in 1997, a potential star for Serie A, currently at odds with and likely to leave Manchester United. Securing him on loan with an option to buy, with half of his salary covered by the Red Devils, may be possible.
Additionally, Milan’s urgent needs in this transfer window include two adjustments, two “stabilizing” moves to address gaps in the squad.
The team lacks a true left-back to give Theo Hernández some rest and a backup in midfield for Youssouf Fofana, a versatile player who could also pair up with the Frenchman if needed.
For the left-back position, it seems likely Milan will target a young prospect (Almugera Kabar of Borussia Dortmund?). Conversely, for midfield, they are looking at an experienced and Serie A-ready player (Warren Bondo of Monza or Morten Frendrup of Genoa).

Will AC Milan try to sign a centre-back?
With Matteo Gabbia, Malick Thiaw, Fikayo Tomori, and Strahinja Pavlović, the club currently feels well-covered in central defence and does not plan to intervene in this transfer window. Especially since Conceição has blocked Tomori’s departure.
Tomori, who was on the radar of Juventus and several English clubs (Newcastle among them), will stay. Looking ahead to next season, however, the Rossoneri are preparing a €30 million defensive signing.
In fact, Milan has no intention of letting Cristhian Mosquera slip away from their radar. The 2004-born Spanish player of Colombian descent currently plays for Valencia. The Spanish club, engaged in the battle to avoid relegation, is reluctant to let him leave now but needs to raise funds. There is significant competition for the Olympic team defender of "La Roja," and according to fichajes.com, Milan has come up with an idea: purchase Mosquera immediately and leave him on loan with the Spaniards until June 30.
