Tijjani Reijnders, who scored today (his seventh goal in the league), spoke to Sky Sport at the end of Milan-Inter 1-1.
Here are his statements:
You're becoming more and more part of the Club’s history—you’re the fifth Dutch scorer for Milan…
"It’s special to play every match for this club. It’s fantastic, especially considering all the Dutch players who played here before me. Unfortunately, my goal wasn’t enough."
After the poor performance in Zagreb, you delivered a high-level match. How do you explain that? Reijnders commented:
"This is the mentality we need to bring into every match, not just in games like this. We should do it more oftenn it would make our lives easier. Today we fought, but unfortunately, we conceded a goal in the last minute."
So, is this the starting point for a change in mentality?
"We have to. We’re not in a good position in the league, and we need to show what we did today in every match."
