According to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport, the new striker that Milan is looking for is expected to arrive in the second half of August. Among the many names linked to the Rossoneri, one to keep an eye on is Dušan Vlahović, who is set to leave Juventus.

A move to Milan, however, would only happen under certain conditions: he must not cost more than 15 million euros, and he must accept a salary no higher than six million euros.
Still, the Serbian forward is not the only profile being considered by CEO Giorgio Furlani and sporting director Igli Tare.
A few weeks ago, during a media briefing at Casa Milan, Tare, the club’s new sporting director, clearly explained the type of striker the Rossoneri are seeking:
“We’re taking the necessary time to understand the shape the team will take, but we have a clear idea of the kind of player we’re looking for, a true center-forward who can make the difference inside the box. That’s what we’ve been missing since Giroud’s departure. He needs to have completely different characteristics from someone like Giménez, who is not a Giroud-type center-forward.”
